The Fat Trap holds 500ml, will sit neatly on the work top beside the cooker and will take the waste fat, oil and grease and gravy etc from every day frying, roasting and cooking.

The Fat Trap has a ¾ screw cap for easy opening and sealing and the internal funnel will encourage slow pouring for less spillage and funnily enough Less Mess!

When full the fat trap can be simply thrown in your usual household waste, alternatively you could add nuts and seeds to the fat collected to make a bird cake and hang out for the birds and reuse or recycle the tub.

Bird cake recipe........Give the birds a Treat!

Instead Of throwing away your solid fat, why not let your garden birds enjoy a bird cake courtesy of the fat trap.

Simply

Mix seeds, nuts, oatmeal and dried fruit into the warm fat held in your 'fat trap'

Insert a piece of string into the pot and allow the fat to cool / solidify.

Turn out the contents of the fat trap and either hang up or place onto a bird table when solid.

You can then wipe out the Fat Trap and either re - use or recycle.

Please note : Ideally you should use animal fats to make your bird cake to ensure the fat solidifies.
